He Must Increase

This set of sermons and brief meditations remains, even though interests have shifted toward music and other concerns. Who knows when, or whether, additional content may appear? It has been a while!
I have trained and served parishes in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod since 1980, but have done so intermittently. From 1988 to 1995 I was given to serve Christ Lutheran Church, Winchester, Illinois.
In 1995 I took leave of the parish ministry to pursue writing and performing music in the jazz and blues genres and did so while supporting my family with other full-time work. I am still involved with music performance as a drummer.
In September of 2013 I was installed as part time assistant pastor at Emmaus Evangelical Lutheran Church, South Bend, Indiana and have served there since, although my duties are minimal there, much like a deacon.
